The Bernard Chardère Prize

The Bernard Chardère Prize is bestowed upon an outstanding film critic and author, like Bernard Chardère himself, founder of the review Positif in Lyon, writer, as well as the first director and co-founder of the Lumière Institute.

The Raymond Chirat Prize

The Raymond Chirat Prize, created in memory of the inestimable French  cinema  historian,  recognizes  a  writer,  historian  or  publisher  who  endeavours for the transmission of cinema heritage.

The Fabienne Vonier Prize

The Fabienne Vonier Prize is bestowed upon an outstanding  film critic and author, like Bernard Chardère himself, founder of the review Positif in Lyon, writer, as well as the first director and co-founder of the Lumière Institute.

The 2020 laureates will be announced at a later date. The Prizes will be awarded during the 2020 Lumière festival.
